I often go back to it and read it over and over. Like you, I thought it didn't seem right. First, I don't believe happiness avoids people and I certainly don't like cats so I can't conceive comparing happiness with a cat. LOL Mark's comment seems to present it in a better way. In my work with people, I have often watched people trying to persue happiness and never receive it. On the other hand, I have seen happiness come to people when they least expected it.
