Are You Tough Enough?

“A spoken reprimand is better than approval that’s never expressed. You use steel to sharpen steel, and one friend sharpens another.” – Proverbs 27:5, 17 (The Message)

“Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you.” – Luke 6:26 (KJV)

STRAIGHT TALK:  Be tough enough to accept correction or constructive criticism. Flattery, compliments, and adulation, builds ego rather than good character. This may go against popular psychology in a self-centered world clawing for attention but, the Word says we are not of this world. The last I checked, it also said pride is the precursor to destruction. So, be humble, don’t sweat being reprimanded, criticized, or corrected. It is good for you.  Oh, and be reminded time will prove all things.
