In Heaven Now...

My dear friend, and fellow blogger, has now passed and entered the land where there will be no more sickness or pain. She valiantly fought cancer and was even nicknamed the "Iron Lady" by her family and hospice nurses. I want to thank all of you who prayed for Janiver Brown, read her blog and left her encouraging comments. Her homegoing service will be this Saturday. Please continue to pray for her husband, children, family and the congregation of which she was the first lady.

Rest in peace, dear Janiver, until we meet again.

  2. I was priviliged to be able to go to Sister Brown's funeral yesterday, which was such a wonderful tribute to her life. While I know this is a tough time for her family and close friends, I'm glad she is suffering no more and is with the Lord. She has left behind a great legacy for her children and church family.

  3. Karen - she was a great example of living by faith.

Mervi - and what a day that will be!

Carol - We had planned and wanted to be at her homegoing service but we had a death in our church and could not leave. I felt so torn between Jan's services and here. It was good to hear how beautiful her service was and the outstanding support of the ministry and friends.
