Bryce's 21st Birthday/Mother's Day

This has been a very busy week! Not only did we have to deal with the house, but we also had our district business conference. That entailed some work for me. I had to emcee the ministers wives day and sing during the ladies spotlight service. Thankfully, the conference was near enough to where we live that we could drive back and forth each day. I have been meaning to post some pictures from Mother's Day and I hope you enjoy them. Since we could not have the official party at our house for Bryce's 21st birthday, we made reservations for dinner at Urricchio's Trattoria. There we celebrated Mother's Day and Bryce's birthday. The first pic is Bryce and my Mom. She will be 82 this year and check out how blue her eyes are! The next snapshot is me and my first-born, then there is a pic of my sister Paula and her husband Mike. Next, is Paula and her daughter Sara. Bryce enjoyed the day so much he was about to fall asleep in his Sand Dabs! Then, a pic of me with my honey and three wonderful children. It was a great day.

  2. Very nice pictures! Your mom looks fabulous for her age. I hope this next week will be a little more restful for you. I didn't go to District Conference, but my husband did. We have a Jr. Bible Quiz tournament tonight and tomorrow at your brother-in-law's church in Modesto. I am so thankful it is only an hour away!!!!

  3. Cheri - thanks for your compliments. I know my Mom enjoys talking to you. Thanks for calling her. She gets lonely and I can't be there ALL the time.

Carol - thanks for your kind words. I, too, think my Mom looks great for her age. District Conference was quite interesting this year. ;) Good luck on the tournament. Hope you get a big trophy!

  6. Great pictures and nice lookin' family! You and your sister look so much alike - of course she looks so much older!! LOL! If you take after your mom, y'all will stay looking young for many years to come.

  7. Gene - LOL For many years, my sister wore her hair down or in a Gibson and people never thought we looked alike. Then, she decided to copy me. Now people think we are twins! I give her a bad time about it. I told her everyone must think she looks like me because there is no way I look as old as her. She is seven years older than me and she will be 54 May 30. I refer to her as "The much older sister." LOL I don't know if we have enough luck to look as young as my Mom at her age. She has always had the "best figure", "best legs", etc.
Thanks for the laugh and compliment.

  8. Jana, thank you for posting the pictures of the family. Sis. Wilson is still so pretty. It's hard to believe she is almost 82!! It's also good to see Paula. I haven't seen her in years. Tell her hello for me! The whole family looks great! I'm so glad I get to hear about them through your blog.

  9. Hi, Linda - I will pass your greetings on. Paula will probably be mad at me for posting a pic of her, but she will just have to get it over it. :)
