The Tent

Work began on Monday and now the tent is up and ready for Camp Meeting to begin. It was a good week with minimal mishaps. When the three main poles (which are four stories high) were going up, they fell once and gave everyone a good scare. Fortunately, no one was hurt and the poles were finally in place. I have enjoyed relaxing in the cool weather. This is truly my vacation week. My Internet is limited but I hope to post more this coming week. Hope you are having a blessed summer.

    Sis. Allard, I am thankful that the tent went up this year with no serious accidents. Praise God! I am also glad that you are finally getting time to relax and enjoy some cool weather. This is a vacation that you really needed.

    Now, the week ahead is the time for you and pastor both to get your spirits refreshed with all that camp meeting singing, preaching and great fellowship. ENJOY - ENJOY - ENJOY! (even though you both will still be envolved in many different areas). Love you much and miss you when you're not here.

    Just driving up to the fairground and seeing the big tent standing in all its glory is exciting. Oh what does God have in store for us this year? I can hardly wait!!!

    Jolene - I LOVE Camp Meeting time. It is my family's favorite time of year.
