Love Is the Greatest of All

"If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.  Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love." - I Corinthians 13:1, 13  (The Message)

“On the other hand, if you give one of these simple, childlike believers a hard time, bullying or taking advantage of their simple trust, you’ll soon wish you hadn’t. You’d be better off dropped in the middle of the lake with a millstone around your neck." - Mark 9:42, also found in Matthew 18:6 and Luke 17:2 (The Message)

Straight Talk:  Don't even think about hurting a little one, someone new in Christ, someone just beginning their walk with the Lord, one of God's children.  In other words, love them no matter what.  Love them whether you like them or not.  Love them whether you think they are right or not.  Let God and their pastor work with them.  The best thing you can do is pray and love.  Love!  Love!  Love!  It is the greatest of all.
