Thank you to all my blogger friends for helping make my blog a success. The counter has now exceeded 20,000 hits in less than 10 months. It has been fun and I look forward to many more conversations with you.
Congratulation Jana. You write entries worth reading. BTW, are you back in your house now? Completely? Like do you know where your Bundt pan is? Love, Helen
Congratulations on your 20,000. I hear you're having Larry Carter with you tomorrow. He was here tonight and we had a church parking lot concert with him. Had a lot of in town visitors. Made a lot of new contacts. Sure had a great time. Have a great service tomorrow. V Clark
Helen - LOL We are in the house, but there are many things I have absolutely no idea where they might be. I need a sound trax for our kids choir by next week-end and I don't even know where to begin to find it. I still haven't found Blake's comforter, and the list can go on and on. Fortunately, my cooking utensils were in cupboards that didn't have to be moved out, so I can get to them. The big issue with the kitchen is getting around all of the boxes. I made some headway in the kitchen Friday. I can actually walk in and get to half of the counters. We are getting there. The best part is sleeping in my bed and not Holiday Inn's.
Jana M - thanks. I'm glad you drop in to visit from time to time.
Virginia - It was nice hearing from you. I am sure you had a great time with Larry Carter. He is such an incredible talent and such a kind man. He is truly a Christian in every sense of the word. I find it disappointing that people have been critical of him because of things they have heard other people say. It only takes being with him for one service and you know he is a man after God's heart. Brian and I feel honored to count him as one of our dear friends.
20,000 Sis Allard, why am I not surprised? You are an amazing lady and you do have an amazing blogging site, which I enjoy very much. It is fun, exciting, and powerful. Before you know it, that number will be doubled.
Congratulations on 20,000! You are a regular "stop" when I am browsing the web! In fact, I was talking with a couple friends at church this weekend and we mentioned how we always visit your blog, as well as Sis. Hurst & Sis. Elms. You all do a terrific job!! Congrats! Hope to see you soon!
Kellee - Am I safe to assume this is Kellee as in Hopper? :) It was nice to hear from you. Will you be attending Ladies Conf. in Feb? It is going to be in Visalia. I think it will a good one!
Cheryl - We just had Larry Carter at our church yesterday. We had such a great move of God. In the middle of Bro. Carter's singing on Sunday morning, he said he felt the Lord in such a powerful way and that God had just changed the direction of the service for someone. What he didn't know was that God turned that service for a backslider and she began to weep. It was just a wonderful time in the Lord. Sunday night was just as great. I just love it when God moves in such strong ways. Thanks for dropping by.
Yes, this is the one and only Kellee Hopper. :-) I need to start thinking about Ladies Conference, I guess. I can't believe it's almost that time again - time sure is flying.
By the way, I loved your Oct. 15 blog - incredible words of wisdom and encouragement!
Born in 1960, you can say she's a boomer. She's married to the love of her life, Brian, who is also her pastor, mom to three gorgeous kids, and wears many different "hats." Her personal passion is singing and she recorded her first CD which was released February 2007. You can hear clips at her website, www.janaallard.com.
