Maybe I should call this "The Week of Bragging!" LOL Thought you might enjoy another video of freeWAY singing. Here they are singing "Bad News for the Blues." You might want to get your dancing shoes on for this one.

ReplyDeleteSonia - I thought you would like it. Do you mean West Coast Conference? If so, put in a word for them.
ReplyDeleteCatherine - Yes, they are. Glad you enjoyed it.
Wow. I love it. I'm going to have to buy their CD.

Talent Plus, and united in one meaningful endeavor. A joy and a blessing are they.
ReplyDeleteCheryl - I think you would love the entire CD.
ReplyDeleteEveryone - thanks for your kind comments and compliments.
Jana - yes. It would be awesome to see them at West Coast Conference. And how does someone put in a word for them? Also, I'd put in a word for them at Camp Meeting if I knew how. Glad to see God is blessing them!
ReplyDeleteWow! These guys are great. This was the first time I've heard them (bad bad news). They have the kind of blending harmony that only comes with many hours ( MANY HOURS) of practice. Great job guys!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI dont know who that lead singer is but has to be the most amazing singer I have ever heard, does he have a website or a blog i can go to and hear more of him?
ReplyDeleteSonia - they sang at Camp Meeting last year and are on the schedule for this coming year. As for West Coast Conference, that is under the direction of Vaughn Morton.
ReplyDeleteVondeLeigh - I am very proud of the boys. They have put alot of work into their singing. If you listen to much quartet music, you will find most quartets do not have real basses. They claim to have a bass, but most are just singing an alto line or another inverted part. Ken Fitzpatrick taught Bryce the correct/real bass lines and it definitely adds more to the quartet. Also, their tenor can soar. On one of their songs, they vocally span four octaves.
Anonymous - thanks for dropping by my blog. The boys switch their parts sometimes so I will list them all for you. According to the videos on my blog, they are (from left to right) Keith Smith singing tenor from San Diego, Bryce Allard (in the beige suit) singing bass from Delano, Lawrence Trump singing baritone from Eureka, and Tyler Sullivan singing lead from Citrust Heights. Tyler has a solo project and it is available to hear and purchase on his website at www.tylersullivanmusic.com. Bryce Allard has a solo project and a compilation CD of finalists from the Exalting Him singing competition of which he was 2nd place. The CD's are availble to hear and purchase on his website at www.bryceallard.com. Keith and Lawrence do not have solo projects nor websites, however the quartet has a website in the making. It will soon be up at www.wayquartet.com. Hope this answers your question sufficiently.
This is awesome!! You have every reason to brag! :)
ReplyDeleteMommy I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteBryn
Rochelle - thanks for the compliment.
ReplyDeleteBryn - my darling princess! I love you more than the moon and stars and chocolate. You are my sweetheart. Have you been playing with daddy on his computer?
Wow! Great! We think that Bryce is the one in the white suit? Looks like Brian more than the others.
ReplyDeleteI know you are proud and so are we!
Uncle Bob and Aunt Sis Rodenbush
Uncle Bob and Aunt Sis - thanks for the compliment. We are so proud of Bryce and the quartet.
ReplyDeleteLove, love this!
ReplyDeleteShirley Buxton
Sis. Buxton - thank you. I love it too.
ReplyDeleteWell, you may answer this somewhere else on your blog, but I haven't seen it, Do they have a CD out yet? I would like to purchase it. =)
ReplyDeleteBekki - thanks for dropping by my blog. Yes, freeWAY does have a CD. It was just released about four weeks ago. Their website is not up yet, but if you want to e-mail me privately, I can arrange to mail a CD to you. My e-mail is ballard@bak.rr.com
