freeWAY Update

WOW! It has been a busy week-end! freeWAY sang for the Unite to Ignite Prayer and Bible Conference on Friday and Saturday nights and capped the weekend with a concert at Pastor McPhail's church, Pentecostal Lighthouse in Visalia, California. Although they have sang at many venues, they are considering their performance at Pentecostal Lighthouse as their first official concert where they sang an entire set instead of just two or three songs. The congregation was "with 'em" from the first notes. The energy was high, the boys stage presence was excellent, and after enjoying themselves and having fun, they began to minister. By the time they got to the 9th song, people began to flood into the altar area crying and seeking God. There were some who met God for the first time. Afterwards, young and old bought CD's and asked for autographs. It was an exciting day and I was so proud. Please pray for freeWAY that their focus to minister will remain steadfast and God will continue to bless. They will be singing in Sacramento at Calvary Evangelism Center (above poster) on Saturday and Sunday morning will be at East Valley Pentecostal Church http://www.evpc.org/ in San Jose.

  2. Rochelle - please keep them in your prayers. They are young (21/22) and need to stay humble. They all love God and I pray they remain close to Him.

  3. How wonderful to hear that God is moving in these young men's midst, and that they are ordained to be blessings and touch lives.

  4. Sis. Hopper - I cried Sunday morning as watched them sing and saw the response of the audience. I also know music is the most venerable area in which to work. Lord, please keep them.

  6. Hi Jana, They're keeping a busy schedule. Do you always travel with them?

  7. Anonymous - thank you. It was a great time.

Helen - Most of the time, I do travel with them to set up their booth, take care of their CD sales (which includes my solo project, Bryce's solo project, his competition finalists CD, Tyler's CD, and freeWAY's new release) and manage their money. They stay busy after concerts signing autographs. There are some smaller venues that I don't go to, but Brian always goes to chauffeur, take care of hotel accommodations, work with sound, etc. Brian has also closed concerts for them with an invitation depending on the location and what the host desires. This upcoming weekend, I will also be singing in San Jose.

  8. Sis. Allard, This past Friday when freeWAY sang in Delano I literally had chills from head to toe. They were so anointed that I could feel the power of God emanate from them as they were singing.

I am praying for these young men because they have a special call upon their lives. Therefore I know that the devil will do whatever he can to devert them from the path they are now on. So I am praying that God puts a hedge of protection around them and blesses them in a mighty way.

I honestly believe that they will do mighty things for God as long as they stay focused on Him.

  10. The guys sound great. Their CD is wonderful, I listen to it all the time. I hated to miss the sectional conference this past weekend, but I was not feeling well. It is great to see how God is using these guys in a special way. If they stay focused and full of the Holy Ghost, they will stay true and stong and God will use them in a mighty way. I expect great things from these guys. I will continue to pray for them as they minister for the glory of God.
