Below is a link to the Santa Maria Times which has an article about camp. The girl pictured, Alexa Anders, was born and raised in my church. She started singing in KIDZ Choir at two years old and has been singing ever since. She is a character and I love her to pieces.

Jana,
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat write up. I'm glad for the exposure. I hope you and Brian and the kids get some rest after working hard the last 3 weeks. Thanks again for all you guys do to make it work.
Love y'all,
Steve
Just wanted to say "Thank you for all your work".
ReplyDeleteGod bless you. Love you.
Steve - This Sr. Camp has been the best camp they have had in years!!! During the service tonight, kids ran outside and were shouting, dancing, rolling in the grass, etc. It has been wild and great. Bro. D. was an excellent principal.
ReplyDeleteCatherine - Je'taime. (Not sure if I spelled that right. LOL I am not the French speaker in the family. LOL)
Jana,
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute picture. I wonder if she likes it? :) It is a good write up too.
Thank you, Brian and all the Allard's for all your hard work, from setting up the tent, taking it down to working with the WAY Choir and freeWay.
Love you all!
Close enough for me! Merci.
ReplyDelete(Je t'aime aussi. Formal - je vous aime).
BTW I don't even know how I managed not to visit your booth :(
You know how much I love your singing. God has blessed your family with this great talent, and we get to enjoy.
Starting this evening is our annual camping trip, I hope you are getting away for a well deserved rest.
Ronda - I think it is cute but she is hating it. Even so, I think she is probably enjoying the publicity.
ReplyDeleteCatherine - our rest can begin now that sr. camp is over. We will stay two more nights and head home Saturday morning.
aw I love Alexa. I can even hear her reaction to that picture they put up :) It was good seeing you and Bro Allard this past week at camp meeting! I'll have to visit you guys soon!
ReplyDeleteWe saw this in the newspaper. Very nice! Can you please tell Sarah to see my blog.....Pic's of her with Cherish!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that the Times did the article - and how wonderful that Senior Camp is on the top. It looked great when we dropped by, and loved hearing the positive reports. But lastly but really not lastly, you and Brian are to be commended for your labor of love each year to the Western District and its youth. Only Eternity will know all the sacrifices you have made to make it happen. Love ya.
ReplyDeleteWow! That is so cool! Thanks for sharing. Love ya!
ReplyDeleteYou Go Alexa!!! I just love when our young people will just jump in and have fun. Nothing like making great memories. Better than being an ol' fuddy duddy.
ReplyDeleteCarissa - you missed it! It was the best sr. camp they have had in 10 years!
ReplyDeleteSusan - I passed your message on to Sara. Cherish is such a doll!
Karen & Tena - I thought the paper dida good job with the write-up.
Jolene - you are right. Alexa had enough courage to do the game. Most girls would have shied away. Alexa is growing up and is a fun young lady to be around.
The "real" Alexa is quite attractive and a better sport than I would be.
ReplyDeleteHelen - Alexa is a good sport and always in some sort of drama. She lives life BIG. LOL When she was just a tiny tot, she would steal the show everytime the kids choir sang. She always knew every word to every song including the adult choir and all the musicals. She is a smart kid.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! And what a great write up too. She's beautiful!(even with candy on her face! hehehe)
ReplyDeletehehe Alexas great! I remember when we were all kiddies running around the Delano church back parkinglot. I feels like just days ago.
ReplyDeleteRochelle - this girl is a fun as her picture shows.
ReplyDeleteCarissa - I think it was just days ago. :)
