She's Back Home
The hospital staff requested transport to bring two wheelchairs to my mom's room for her release. One wheelchair for her and the other to transport a large laundry basket full of flower arrangements and balloon bouquets. After eight days in hospital, mom rode to the car in style wearing a hospital gown. LOL We can't get anything else on her right now. After the 40 minute ride home, she was in pain and needed some relief but was sick soon after taking the medications. I felt so bad for her. Finally, she calmed down and rested. She is doing surprisingly well getting up and down. Our nanny, Joy, has been such a huge help and blessing. She spent every night in hospital with my mom and came to mom's house last evening to give my sister and I some relief. My sister will spend the night at mom's house and I will return later this morning to relieve my sister. My mom hates "depending" on us but I assured her we are working diligently to get her independence back. Thanks once again for your many prayers, cards, flowers, balloons, phone calls, visits, care and concern. I love you all.
