Congratulations, Darin!

Our family has a long-time friend, Darin Sargent, who was born missing his left arm from just below the elbow down and, even though he has accomplished much, he is now the proud recipient of the iLimb. I thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures and reading about Darin at his new blog http://theadventuresoftheilimb.wordpress.com/ On the right side of the blog page, there is a link to "The iLimb" that shows a short video of how the arm works. Nothing short of amazing!

  2. Truly amazing, and couldn't happen to a nicer person. Will keep up with his blog, as knowing him, I am in for chuckles as well as inspiration.

  3. Helen - Darin Sargent is a pastor in Southern California and he is also a comedian with a newly released DVD. He (and his family) has been a long-time friend of ours and we greatly admire him. His children are good friends with Bryn and Blake and can be found playing together every summer at camp. I am so happy for him and this new arm.

Karen - You are so right - couldn't happen to a nicer person. I'm sure we are in for a ton of laughs about this new arm.

  8. Darin - Guess we could nickname the bionic arm "Leroy." You know, like "Bad, bad, Leroy Brown, baddest man..."
