Amen to that! Especially the sitting down and listening part. Goes against our flesh you know. We want to have it our way. But - If one could ever learn to sit down and REALLY listen to the Word of God - heed the counsel of their pastor - They would save themselves a whole lot of trouble - Guaranteed!!!
Of course this statement works for other areas in our life as well like on the job - in school - in the home and etc.
Why can't I just make a simple comment without going on and on and on?
Jolene - I have often thought I would have liked to be an attorney because I believe I am a good listener. Having listened to many people throughout the years, I hope I have offered some help but I must say, I want to listen to Him more than anyone else. As for your last question - it's the preach in you.
