I like this post! Very good reminder...know what's funny? Today the traffic was crazy, and everyone was trying to get home because it's a blizzard outside (literally) and dangerous driving conditions. A guy stopped his truck in the middle of the road to let me go, when it was his turn to go...I was so amazed. Being from California, "The Land of Rude Crazy Drivers", it was so shocking and made me feel warm and put a smile on my face. Just that simple act from a stranger whom I'll never meet, made a difference for me. It didn't feel like "every man for his own" even though we were all sliding around and trying to get through the light signals. It made me realize that a simple smile at someone in a store, or holding doors for people, letting them go in traffic when it's your turn...that really brightens most peoples' day I think! And it always makes me feel good too. (sorry to write a book here! LOL! Guess you just struck a chord with me! =D)
