WOW!!! I am impressed! What gorgeous kids you have been blessed with!!! You know, the pics of Bryce at his great, great, great, ummmm, how many greats?, grandpa's store would be great cover art for future albums!!!
Hi, Jana! Thanks for the compliments. Of course, I think my kids are gorgeous. :) You are right about the pics at the store. On our way to Nashville, we stopped in Alma, Arkansas and showed Bryce my Mother's homeplace. The house my Mom and uncle were born in is still a beautiful place. That house belonged to my Mom's grandpa. The old store is on the same property. We actually planned our trip for the purpose of taking Bryce there for pictures. We thought of using a couple on this project, but it just didn't work out. Hopefully, he will have another project and we will include some of those old store pics. I have pictures of Bryn (from a previous trip) and she is standing barefoot on the porch of the store. They are darling pics. Thanks for dropping by.
Hi, Ronda - Sis. Buxton took the pic of Bryn's high heels at the southern ladies conf. I thought it was too cute to pass. Bryn thinks she is hot stuff wearing those shoes. LOL
Helen - funny you talk about being grandparents. We have many friends our age and most of them are grandparents. With a five year old, my husband tells people we are having our own grandkids. LOL Your boys are spaced like ours. Bryce will be 21 next month, and Blake is ten. Bryn was our grand finale. When it is the right time, hopefully, we will be grandparents.
Beautiful slide show, Jana! It sure was fun putting mine together the other day. That can be addicting. I bet Bryce and Jeremy would get along good. Looks like they both like snowboarding. Jeremy has been up to the mountains almost every other weekend hitting the slopes. Hope you have a great time at Youth convention.
Hi, Karen! Yes, Bryce enjoys sports and loves meeting new friends. I just got home from Youth Conv. and I am sooo tired. Thanks for your kind comments.
Linda and Cheri - thanks for dropping by and your sweet compliments.
Hey, Mrs. Nunez! Thanks for dropping by. Actually, I was going to add some pics that Brian and I took in Nashville, but all the studio pics were too big for the slide files. I guess they put limits on the slide programs so that they aren't too slow.
Born in 1960, you can say she's a boomer. She's married to the love of her life, Brian, who is also her pastor, mom to three gorgeous kids, and wears many different "hats." Her personal passion is singing and she recorded her first CD which was released February 2007. You can hear clips at her website, www.janaallard.com.

ReplyDeleteHi, Gene & Karla - thanks for the compliments. I am proud I accomplished the slide show because I am almost computer illiterate. :)
ReplyDeleteNice looking kids. I have just two - sons age 32 and 21. Both are single, and we are old enough to be grandparents, but aren't.
