Progress Report On Katelyn

This is a progress report about Katelyn. Several of you have e-mailed asking how her surgery went and how she is recovering. The surgery was successful and she is recovering nicely. She appeared to have a swollen and somewhat black eye for a few days, but it is greatly improved. Please keep her in your prayers. Her mother noticed a small bump on the top of the same eye and became worried that a "repeat" was occurring. This precious darling was dedicated to the Lord as an infant and we are trusting the Almighty God to keep her in His care and take care of her beautiful blue eyes. The snapshot was taken Easter Sunday morning at church. Isn't she a doll?!

  3. Carol and Cheri - thanks for praying for Kaitlyn. She really is a cutie. Her mom and dad are the directors of our children's ministry. They do a fabulous job and our church is blessed to have them as part of our family.

  4. My many thanks to everyone for your prayers! Katelyn's eye looks great. All that's left is a red mark under her eye where the cyst USED to be. And that is fading daily! I noticed another small bump inside her top eyelid Monday. We had Family Prayer at the church that nite and all the ladies gathered around and prayed for her. Well, it's almost completely gone! Prayer works!! I'm a witness!

I'm more and more greatful everyday for the Family of God. Thank you all again!

    Love,

    Katelyn's Mom

  6. Katelyn's Mommy - I love you more than words can say. Prayer does work and the song you sing is so true..."because God's good, He's so good, absolutely, positively, definitely, nothing but good, He's so good, on my baddest, baddest day, on my deepest, darkest night, I know that everything is gonna be alright, because God's good."

  7. Thank you, Helen. I must admit that pastor's and pastor's wife need to be careful about showing too much attention to any certain people, but that is the most difficult thing. Some people make themselves close to the pastor and his wife by their service. Katelyn's mommy once told me she felt God had placed her in our church to serve me. She has definitely become my "right hand." I hate to say "right hand" because I am left-handed so she is really my "left hand." I love her, her husband and children so much. If only the world had more people like them! Katelyn's mommy comes by it honestly, however, because Katelyn's grandma is also a beautiful servant in the church. I lean on her, too.

  8. Sister Allard, you describe Katelyn's mommy just like she is, honest and dependable, oh the fun we have had even before she was a mommie, I love her. Love you too, you are a person that it is easy to be a friend too, you showed us how to be a friend, and to be an example, God Bless, Love you,
