Some of the children in our church participate in an annual fundraiser and yesterday they had a Jump-A-Thon. For several years they had a Mega-March, but decided to try something new this year. They all loved jumping. There were many jump ropes and two bounce houses. Following the Jump-A-Thon, there was a barbecue, water gun war, water balloons, the gigantic water slide and more. It was wild and crazy! LOL Part of their fundraiser sponsors Save Our Children which gives aide to orphanage and children's ministries. Each year they purchase something for our local children. This year, part of their funds are purchasing a sound system for their own KIDZ Church. This month, they will have a kids praise team and band complete with a new sound system. It will be quite exciting for all involved.
What a great way to have some fun, while making some money for worthwhile projects.

ReplyDeleteKevin - They did have a blast. I wish I would have taken more pictures. There were kids everywhere and I missed getting pictures of the barbecue, the slip-n-slide, and more.
