From Shirley's blog, I followed the link that led to the page where you can share a smile with everyone in Times Square, New York. The above pictures were approved to be displayed. Top to bottom: My three kids, my mother, Bryn, Blake, and Bryce. I copied the pictures from the website that show how they appear on the giant, digital billboard. Blake is ready to go to New York and see it in "real life." You can visit Shirley's original post and see the picture she submitted of her granddaughter, Ella. http://writenow.wordpress.com/2008/05/30/close-to-mommy/
Karen - thanks. It would be fun to take a vacation to NYC.
Carol - Amen!
Tracie - You have the best idea yet. We could all meet in Times Square, have dinner, tour the city, and then have a blog competition for the best vacation report. LOL
Bro. Smith - I told Tracie you guys ought to come to California Camp Meeting (Aug. 4-9)in Santa Maria and enjoy the cool, California coast. We have camp meeting in a tent the size of a football field and wear winter clothes. There is lots of good eating and we would definitely take you out to dinner.
Hey I recognize those BEAUTIFUL smiles. Not surprised they made it as winners at all. Especially when you know the personality that goes with those smiles.
WOW to think all the people in NYC are now blessed to see the beautiful smiles, they now need to meet the "beautiful" people that go with the smiles, and they will be doubley blessed, they are great pictures, but where is yours and Pastor Allards, they need yours too, Love you,
Born in 1960, you can say she's a boomer. She's married to the love of her life, Brian, who is also her pastor, mom to three gorgeous kids, and wears many different "hats." Her personal passion is singing and she recorded her first CD which was released February 2007. You can hear clips at her website, www.janaallard.com.
Wow. Congrats to you. It is too bad you can't take the family to NYC to see the pics on the billboard.
ReplyDeleteTimes Square could use some smiling Apostolics. Congrats on getting your pictures approved.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics. I LOVE Times Square. I think we should plan a 'bloggers party' there!!!!
