Warning: Get Kleenex Before Reading

Having struggled with infertility and the loss of a baby, I read the letter at the below link and got a huge lump in my throat. This mother's letter to her daughter is heart-wrenching.

  1. Even me, who has never been pregnant nor have children of my own, felt such a strong sense of emotion when reading that letter....It was beautiful and strong.

  2. Carissa - if a person doesn't feel strong emotion when reading that letter, they probably need oxygen and CPR.

  3. I have been following this blog, and it just makes my heart break. I cannot imagine what this mother or the Stephen Curtis Chapman family are going through. God bless them all.

  4. Monica - This letter choked me up big time. I went through years of infertility, took fertility drugs that can cause cancer, had surgery, and was finally pregnant. I lost the baby and I will never forget the depression I sank into as my mind whirled much like this mom. But, God was gracious and gave us the desire of our hearts. Now, I have three children born in three different generations and they are the light of my life.

  5. Oh My Word! A BOX of kleenex in deed. I think I used the whole box and then some reading this entire blog. When I got to "The Past & The Pitcher" I nearly fell apart. Dear Lord what strength this lady possesses in the Lord in the midst of all of her most tramatizing heartaches and disappointments. Talk about LEARNING TO LEAN.
